The year started with the Group’s AGM which was held in Eastleigh in January, thanks to all the members who turned out. Officers and committee were duly elected to run the group for the forthcoming 12 months.
In March our members took part in a live exercise on behalf of the Local Resilience Forum, this formed part of a successful National Exercise.
We held several internal training events, including taking at look at the group’s masts and making sure they could be erected in a safe and timely manner. 
Later in the year we supported the Dorset Trial Running event on the St Giles Estate in Dorset, the Lymington Lifeboat 10k run, Horton Heath 10k, and the New Forest Marathon. Our operators also provided the communications for Romsey Show. Unfortunately the New Forest Runners 10 mile run had to be cancelled at short notice due to the weather conditions as the course was flooded in parts and was deemed to be unsafe.
